The Rookie League Foundation will host a Pitch, Hit & Run skills competition on Friday at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark for boys and girls from 7 to 14 years old. The event is sanctioned by Major League Baseball in partnership with USA Softball. The baseball competition will start at noon and the softball competition at 2 p.m.

The competition will offer four divisions apiece for softball and baseball with the winners of each division qualifying for the Team Championship competition, which will be held at Globe Life Field in Arlington. Top scorers from Arlington then qualify for an all-expenses-paid trip for two to compete at Finals, which is hosted annually at the World Series.
