Playball Stillwater Exceeds Expectations

Always a highlight on the fall Playball camp schedule, the Rookie League Foundation partnered with Oklahoma State softball for Playball Stillwater on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Cowgirl Stadium.  

 

A capacity crowd of youngsters enjoyed a morning of activities with full participation from the powerhouse Cowgirl softball team. About 300 youngsters and parents from near and far attended what was the second annual Playball Stillwater. 

  

The Rookie League Foundation would like to thank Visit Stillwater for stepping up as a title sponsor, making the purchase of camp t-shirts possible. 

 

OSU softball director of operations Katie Norris says that the Playball camp allows the team to have fun while bonding with an always appreciative group of youngsters. 

 

“The Playball Camp has become a yearly highlight for our team,” Norris said. 

 

“They have so much fun interacting and playing with all the kids, and we look forward to continuing this partnership in the future.” 

 

Rookie League Foundation Program Coordinator Kalen Haynes says Playball Stillwater was a tremendous success, thanks to the Cowgirl softball program’s efforts. 

 

“We had a great time connecting with the OSU Softball team and their fantastic community,” Haynes said. 

 

“The parents were incredibly involved, and we genuinely appreciate their support in making the day special for the kids. We are excited to keep this initiative going in the future!”
