Dave Ralston is currently the Defense Account Executive for Halvik, Inc. Previously he was the President of Government Secure Solutions CGI Inc an independent wholly-owned subsidiary of CGI Group.

Dave served 33 years in the United States Army and retired from active service in December 2007, as a Major General. Over the course of his Army career, he served in a variety of command and staff positions throughout the United States, Germany, The Netherlands and Kosovo. As an Army General Officer, he was assigned as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Intelligence, Kosovo Force; Director of Force Management, Office of Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Plans, Headquarters Department of the Army; and in August 2005, he assumed the position of Commanding General, United States Army Fires Center of Excellance and Fort Sill, Oklahoma – a command of more than 15,000 Soldiers and government employees responsible for the training and organization of the United States Army Field Artillery and Missile forces worldwide. Dave still serves as the Army’s senior facilitator for “How the Army Runs” course presented to new Army general officers and SESs.

Dave holds a Harvard Fellowship in National Security; Master of Arts Degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Weber State University.

In 2016 Dave was inducted into the Army Force Management Hall of Fame. He has worked extensively with the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) and co-authored the book ‘Combating Serious Crimes in Postconflict Societies’, a handbook for policymakers and practitioners published by USIP in 2006.
